It’s not too late to get over to talk to fellow chamber members and all of your elected officials at what have become the biggest networking party of the year, the Government and Chamber Clambake to be held Thursday, April 12, 2012 at the River Forest County Club from 7 – 9 p.m., sponsored by your area’s local Chambers of Commerce. See the flier enclosed in this mailing.
So if you haven’t had the time to register, you can just show up at 7 p.m. for a little cheese, veggies and fried clams, prior to a complete dinner while you talk with all of your “favorite” government officials. With more than one dozen elected officials attending, you will have an excellent opportunity to talk informally with those who represent you at the local, county, state and federal levels. We have in attendance five County Commissioners from Westmoreland and Armstrong Counties, Jason Altmire, Mark Critz will be there in person, representatives from Casey’s and Toomey’s Congressional Offices are coming, as well as Jim Ferlo, Frank Dermody, Eli Evankovich, Joe Petrarca, along with representatives from Jeff Pyle’s and Mike Kelly’s Offices. In addition leaders form a number of municipalities will also be there, including West Leechburg Borough.
